Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the LLM Audit service operated by Mentionstack ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Mentionstack provides AI-powered visibility analysis reports comparing brand presence across large language model (LLM) responses. We query third-party LLMs with category prompts, parse their responses, and assemble a report. Reports are point-in-time snapshots that reflect model outputs at the time of the run.

3. User Accounts and Access

The self-serve flow currently does not require an account. Generated reports are hosted at public URLs keyed to a random slug; anyone with the URL can view the report. Treat the slug like a shared link and do not include sensitive information in the inputs you submit.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• scrape, harvest, or bulk-download the service or its reports;
• circumvent rate limits or any other technical access controls;
• submit domains or queries that you do not have authority to research;
• impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation;
• use the service to harass, defame, or harm any third party;
• use the service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

5. Intellectual Property

The report structure, layout, branding, scoring methodology, and underlying software are owned by Mentionstack. The brand information you submit remains yours. LLM-generated text within reports is the output of third-party providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google) and is subject to their respective terms.

6. Disclaimers

Reports are provided on an "as is" basis. LLM outputs are probabilistic and can change between runs. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose, and reports should not be relied on as the sole basis for business, legal, or investment decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mentionstack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100).

8. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
